Carl Dowell, Owner
Passion. Experience. Design. Carl brings all of these to his projects. A passion for finishing carpentry, to a wealth of experience in cabinet making and installation, Carl has worked with some of Canada’s largest developers on multi-residential projects.
Starting in England working on homeowner renovation projects, Carl had his own business, focusing on quality and satisfaction while working with tight deadlines and staying on budget.
Carl now brings that experience, passion, drive for quality and satisfaction to Designspace Kitchens bringing high end German products to his clients. With a wide variety of design elements, products and brands available, the most prominent German manufacturers always bring the highest level of satisfaction customers have had with the finished product’s look and function.
Originally from Carlisle, England, Carl, his wife Louise and their three children immigrated to Canada in 2018. After a few years in Vancouver, British Columbia, Carl and his family wanted a new challenge and a more steady-pace living. They fell in love with Okotoks, Alberta and the beauty of the Foothills. A place they proudly call home.
